What Is LoFush?

LoFush is a fully integrated Livestock and Agribusiness Ecosystem Platform developed by Fush Holdings Co. Ltd for the Tanzanian market.   1. Register — Fill the registration form and select your account type.

Phone Verification (OTP)

After submitting the form, an OTP is sent via SMS. Enter it at /verify-phone. A "Resend OTP" button is available (rate-limited). Your account is NOT logged in until OTP is verified.

Account Pending Approval
⚠️After phone verification your account status is Pending. You cannot access any portal features until an administrator approves your account. Approvals typically occur within 1 business day.
Logging In

/login — Log in with either your email address or phone number (e.g. 0712345678 or +255712345678) plus password. "Remember me" keeps the session active across browser sessions.

Forgot Password

/forgot-password — Password reset via SMS OTP (not email). Enter your phone → receive OTP → enter OTP + new password at /reset-password/sms.

⚠️Marketplace Integrity Policy: A policy acknowledgment modal appears before every listing submission (once per browser session). Fraudulent listings result in permanent account suspension.

Marketplace (E-Commerce)

/buyer/marketplace — LoFush marketplace has been upgraded into a full e-commerce experience with a search hero, category pills, featured sellers section, and a priority-sorted listing grid.

Hero Search

The page opens with a full-width green search banner. Type any keyword (animal name, product, seller, region) and press Search to filter immediately.

Advanced Filters

Click Advanced Filters to expand the filter panel. Filter by: Animal Type, Product Category, Min Price, Max Price. Click Apply to search, or Clear All to reset. The panel auto-opens when filters are active.

Featured Sellers Section

The top of the results page (when no filters are active) shows a Featured Sellers grid — listings from sellers with a Premium subscription plan. These sellers have the highest trust level and best-quality inventory.

Priority Ordering

All listings are sorted by seller subscription tier — Premium sellers appear first, followed by Standard, then Verified Free, then regular free accounts. Within each tier, newest listings appear first.

💡If you are a seller, upgrading to a Standard or Premium plan moves your listings higher in search results automatically.
Listing Card Features

Each card shows: photo/video thumbnail, category label, title, seller name + region, Verified Badge (if applicable), price, stock quantity, and action buttons (View, Order, Save to Wishlist).

Listing Detail Page

/buyer/marketplace/{listing} — Click any listing to open the full detail view:

  • Photo/Video Gallery — Primary display with scrollable thumbnails; click any thumbnail to switch the main view
  • Seller Profile Card — Avatar, name, Verified Badge (if applicable), region, farm name; includes a "View Seller Store" link
  • Vaccination Records — Shown for animal listings; lists all vaccines administered
  • Star Ratings & Reviews — Average rating and up to 5 recent approved buyer reviews
  • Related Listings — 4 same-type listings from other premium-priority sellers

Shopping Cart (Wishlist Cart)

/buyer/cart — Add multiple listings from the marketplace to a cart for comparison and batch ordering.

ℹ️The cart is session-based and does not create any orders. Use it to shortlist items; then click Order on each cart item to place the real order with the seller.

The cart auto-validates items — if a listing becomes unavailable or out of stock, it is removed silently on next visit.

Seller Stores

/buyer/seller/{user} — Every seller has a public storefront page accessible from the listing detail page ("View Seller Store" button).

The store page shows:

  • Seller banner with profile photo, full name, Verified Badge, farm name, region, and average star rating
  • Total listing count and category tabs (All / Livestock / Products / Inputs / Services)
  • All active listings from that seller, sorted by priority rank
  • Contact Seller button — opens a direct message thread
Placing an Order

/buyer/marketplace/{listing}/order — Fields: Quantity, Delivery Address, Delivery Instructions. After placing, status is Pending until seller confirms.

Favorites / Wishlist

/buyer/favorites — Save and manage listings you are interested in. The heart icon on each listing card toggles the saved state. Saved listings appear in your Favorites list for later comparison.

Demand Management

/buyer/demand — Declare what you want to purchase so farmers can find and approach you.

First-Time Onboarding (Required)

/buyer/demand/setup — One-time setup: confirm buyer category, commodity interests, budget range, delivery preference.

LoFush uses a Freemium model. Every role starts on a free tier with basic features. Upgrading unlocks more listings, analytics, priority positioning, and verified-badge eligibility. All plans can be created or edited by admin.

Each of these roles also has Free / Standard (Professional) / Premium tiers. Pricing is configured by admin in /admin/monetization. Features follow the same pattern: free = basic access, Standard = analytics + tools, Premium = featured + verified badge.

💡Subscription affects marketplace listing priority automatically — Premium sellers appear at the top of all buyer searches. No manual configuration needed.
Verified Blue Tick Badge

The Verified Badge ( blue checkmark) confirms that a seller's identity and credentials have been reviewed and approved by the LoFush operations team. It builds buyer trust and increases listing visibility.

How to Get Verified
  1. Subscribe to a plan that includes Verified Badge Eligibility (Standard or higher for most roles)

  2. Navigate to /monetization/verification

  3. Submit Government ID and relevant professional certificates

  4. Admin reviews the request — typically within 24–48 hours

  5. Upon approval your Verified Badge appears on: listing cards, the listing detail seller panel, your seller store header, and search results

Subscription Lock

If a feature requires a subscription you don't have, a lock overlay appears with plan details and a "Continue to Payment" button. Free users can still use LoFush normally within their tier's limits.

Admin: Managing Plans

Administrators can create, edit, and delete plans at /admin/monetization. Each plan has: Feature (role group), Plan Name, Price, Duration, Grace Period, Settings JSON (tier, max_listings, analytics, featured_listings, verified_badge, priority_rank, etc.).

⚠️Changing a plan's priority_rank immediately affects the marketplace sort order for all active subscribers on that plan.
Promoted Ads

18Multi-Role System
Overview

Users can hold multiple roles simultaneously. The active role determines the dashboard and navigation shown. A farmer can also be a buyer; a consultant can also be an analyst.

Switching Active Role

Click your profile name in the top navigation → More Roles dropdown → Switch Role → select desired role. Page reloads with the new role's dashboard.

LoFush supports English and Kiswahili. Click EN or SW in the navigation bar (or the floating language button) to switch instantly. Preference is stored in the session.

A JavaScript engine replaces all visible English text with Kiswahili without a page reload. Translated content: all navigation labels, headings, form labels, button text, table headers, status labels, error messages, and modal content.

ℹ️Dynamic user-generated content (listing titles, messages, farmer names) is displayed as entered and is not translated by the system.

Login Issues
Cannot log in with phone number

Use format 0712345678 or +255712345678. No spaces or hyphens.

"Credentials do not match" error

Verify identifier and password. Use Forgot Password at /forgot-password to reset via SMS.

"Account is not currently active"

Account may be suspended or rejected. Contact support (Section 24).

Registration Issues
Did not receive OTP SMS

Verify the phone number is correct. Click Resend OTP (wait 60 seconds). If still failing, contact support.

Account pending over 48 hours

Contact admin support. Approvals are processed within 1 business day under normal operations.

Payment Issues
AzamPay payment failed but money was deducted

Wait up to 15 minutes. Check /payments/{transaction}/status. Contact support after 30 minutes with your transaction reference.

Manual payment not reflected

Allow up to 24 business hours for admin verification. Contact support with bank transfer proof.

Order Issues
Cannot cancel an order

Orders can only be cancelled while in Pending status. Confirmed orders require admin intervention.

Seller is unresponsive

Use Direct Messaging to contact the seller. If no response within 48 hours, contact support.

Listing & Access Issues
Listing not appearing in marketplace

Check listing status — must be Active. If Suspended, check notifications for reason and submit an appeal.

"403 Forbidden" when navigating

Ensure your active role matches the portal. Switch role via the More Roles dropdown in the navigation bar.

Feature locked behind subscription overlay

Your plan does not include this feature. Go to /monetization to subscribe.

Is LoFush free to use?

Registration is free. Basic browsing and ordering is free for all approved users. Some advanced features require a subscription plan.

How long does account approval take?

Typically within 1 business day. Up to 2 business days during peak periods.

Can I have more than one role?

Yes. Request additional roles from My Roles. Each role may require admin approval and its own subscription.

How do I switch between my roles?

Profile name → More Roles dropdown → Switch Role → select desired role.

What happens if my listing gets suspended?

You receive a notification with the reason. Submit an appeal from your account. Admin responds within 2 business days.

Can buyers contact me without placing an order?

Yes — via Direct Messaging at /messages. Both parties must be registered and approved.

How does Demand Intelligence work?

Buyers declare commodities they want to purchase (quantity, budget, timeline). Farmers see all active demands and submit supply offers. Buyers review and accept or decline each offer.

How are payments processed?

LoFush integrates with AzamPay for mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, Halopesa). Manual bank transfer is also supported for subscriptions.

How do I switch to Kiswahili?

Click the SW button in the navigation bar or the floating language button. The interface switches instantly.

How do I report fraud?

Navigate to /fraud-reports or use Profile dropdown → My Fraud Reports. Provide as much detail as possible.

How do I delete my account?

Visit /account-deletion for account deletion request instructions.

How do I know if a vet or consultant is verified?

Verified service providers display a verification badge on their profile. Check credentials on the profile detail page.
